Project Description
The Accelerator Lab of Uzbekistan, in partnership with the UNDP RBEC Innovation Team, has analysed the Future of Work (FoW) ecosystem via country’s needs, resources and conditions and identified a set of strategic positions for the FoW portfolio to enable discovery and learning for policymaking. Ricardo was commissioned to:
- Review of UNDP´s FoW work;
- Hold strategic discussions within UNDP;
- Hold discussions with the UNDP key projects and other relevant projects;
- Hold discussions with Ministries, Agencies, IFIs, private sector, projects, etc.;
- Make recommendations for the future focus of UNDP portfolio (medium term) which concretises and moves beyond the FoW work so far;
- Make recommendations for re-profiling the key 2 projects on the basis of the recommended.
Based on an intensive mission carried out in June 2021, Ricardo presented the recommendations to UNDP Uzbekistan´s senior management and prepare a report which set out the specific activities to be converted into the new FoW Portfolio, based on an ideation process. This report was accepted and was presented to all relevant stakeholders in November 2021
