EU-Ukraine: Engagements to foster business, investment & trade, EC FWC DG NEAR

Project Description

This project implemented by COWI involved three experts led by Dr Pinto (Dr B Alexandrova-Efe, Ms N Balandina) to enhance engagement between the EU, Ukraine, private sector and Financial Institutions to foster business, investment and trade for Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.

The objectives were:

• Raise awareness of business, investment and trade opportunities for the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine among stakeholders and the public by organising public events and communication activities, notably in the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Conferences.
• Enhance coordination, sharing of best practices and origination of business, investment and trade opportunities by organising workshops, engagement events and conferences with the private sector and Financial Institutions, in the context of the Ukraine Investment Framework.
• Enhance analytical capacities, information and communication resources for doing business, investment and trade for the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine through analytical work, policy advice, intelligence gathering and communications, including in relation to the Ukraine Facility and activities of the Government of Ukraine.
